7.00: Pick up from your hotel/stay and depart for Sapa.

9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break 11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa

13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures

14.30: A walk to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.

17.00: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in hotel with night activities.

Enjoy your breakfast then check out of the room, then we will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley where we can admire magnificent landscapes and trek on a small trails going to Y Linh Ho village (with Black H’mong tribe).

Trek through lush rice – terraces towards Lao Chai village, enjoy delicious lunch in the local house nearby Muong Hoa River, experiencing Black H’mong people’s daily life and traditional culture. Next cross suspension bridges as you walk through Lao Chai village to Ta Van village inhabited by Zay minorities exhibiting strong Chinese culture. Bus ride returns to Sapa.

Free time to relax. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

After breakfast, you will to Bac Ha via Lao Cai. When you arrive in Bac Ha, you have two options depending on what day of the week it is. If it is a Sunday, you can spend the morning visiting the weekly market which is one of the most colorful markets in northeastern Vietnam. People from many different ethnic minority ethnic groups such as Flower H’mong , Phu La and Dao Tuyen gather every Sunday, not only for shopping but also to meet and catch up on the local gossip. If it is not a Sunday, you will visit the palace of Hoang A Tuong, which is located in the central area of Bac Ha. The palace of Hoang A Tuong is a substantial building, with Oriental and European architectural influences, built in the early 20th century. You will have dinner and stay overnight in a hotel in Bac Ha.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Bac Ha, taking the road through Sin Man and Hoang Su Phi and heading for the city of Ha Giang. Along the way, you may you can watch the incredible scenery passing by and also see many local people from the Nung Ing, Tay, Red Dao, Dao Ao Dai, La Chi and Co Lao communities. There will be opportunities to stop for taking pictures and having lunch. You will arrive in Ha Giang in the late afternoon where you will check into your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to explore the border town and stay overnight in Ha Giang.

The remote region of Dong Van is renowned for its rugged mountains and beautiful hill tribe villages. Today you will discover some of these charms as you visit the ancient royal Hmong house in Sa Phin. The trip to Ha Giang offers you the opportunity to admire the local costumes, discover hidden mountains and begin to appreciate the rhythm of this rural lifestyle.

After breakfast, depending on the day we will visit the open air market of Dong Van. The market takes place every 6 days, meaning the market rotates across the days. For example, if the market takes place Sunday, next week it will place Saturday and the following week on Friday. You will then we climb up to the French fort Pu Lo, built in 1890 and decommissioned in 1945 but perfectly preserved. You will then travel along the Ma Pi Leng Pass which sits at astaggering elevation of 2000 meters. This sweeping mountain offers spectacular views of terraced fields of hemp running down to the valley of Meo Vac. After lunch in Meo Vac town, we then drive to Tam Son. You will arrive in Quan Ba in the lately afternoon, where you will have a chance to overnight at a Dzao house.

After breakfast in the hotel, you begin the long but beautiful drive back to Hanoi. You will pass through the spectacular landscapes of Ha Giang, and stop for lunch in Tuyen Quang, before completing the rest of the drive.
