Hoian – Hue – Phong Nha Tour 5Days

You will be picked up at your hotel where we will then discover the city of Hoi An by foot. While walking through the city, we will visit Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

After lunch we will depart for Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Start with an early morning pick-up from the hotel and drive along the coastal area to visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). DMZ is set in the rugged, jungle-shrouded mountains along the Vietnam – Laos border of South Vietnam. Our tour will continue with a trip to Quang Tri Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge and the Seventeenth Parallel – the former borderline between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. We will then visit Vinh Moc Tunnels, which were used to shelter people from the intense bombings during the Vietnam War, and Con Tien Firebase area.

Transfer to Dong Hoi – Quang Binh. Overnight in Quang Binh.

Our day will begin with breakfast before driving to PhongNha Cave – a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO. Upon arrival, the group will travel by boat along the river to a complex of caves. After a short hike up the ‘300 steps’, you will have the chance to explore these caves with their hundreds of glistening stalactites and stalagmites. We will continue our journey sailing down the river and into a limestone mountain cave. Inside the cave, you can leave the boat and walk through the stalactites and stalagmites before returning to Hue.

Overnight in Hue

Hue is a place that offers many cultural treasures: the tombs of kings, the imperial citadel and temples. In Vietnam there is no other place that has as many original historical remnants as this ancient capital. On this tour, we will visit the most famous landmarks situated within Hue’s borders, such as: Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Khai Dinh or Tu Duc Tomb and Dong Ba Riverside Market.

Today you will leave Hue for new destinations in Vietnam! Having breakfast at hotel & free for shopping until transfer to airport to depart to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.
